From Shaun William Ryder.... |
It`s been a long 17 weekends since the easy win over Mito in the last game of 2010, a ton of forwards have been bought in the off season, Verdy have blitzed all comers in pre-season (bar one) but now it`s time to see for real how good the 2011 vintage is. Ladies and Gentlemen Start Your Engines!!!
Here we go boys in green ! A new season means a new hope, after 2 seasons in troubles... All for Verdy now. A good start in Roasso on sunday (game time is 7 in the morning here...). Nick, do u watch the game on tv ?
ReplyDeleteIn my crystal ball: Kumamoto 2-3 Verdy (Hiramoto and Maranhao*2)
Let's do it !!
See ya mate.
Hopefully you will be eating goals for breakfast my friend. Yes, I`ll be watching on TV after an afternoon of chopping up firewood. A 3-2 win with a last second winner as against Toyama last season will be nice though I don`t think my heart can take such excitement again.Welcome back for 2011 and thanks for checking in!
ReplyDelete2011 is gonna be green!
ReplyDeleteFor anyone in the Tokyo area who is looking for somewhere to catch the game, me and a few mates will be in Footnik in Ozaki. Come and cheer on the boys with us!
For Verdy fans that want to arrange going to games together me and a friend have started a Facebook page, if you're interested please head over and join.

Absolutely not a problem the more the merrier and skills to you for thinking of it. Nice one.
ReplyDeleteIve put a link up in the link list. Are you going to the Mito game?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteAs for Sunday, sure am. Think we can brake the 5000 attendance mark?
Depends on the weather I think, if the day is like today (Monday freezing drizzle) then no way on the other hand if it`s like Sunday and gloriously sunny and warm then I`d say there is a good chance. Ill be sitting behind the goal to the left if you are looking at it from behind. I`ll be with my lad (3 years old) so shouldnt be too difficult to spot. Be nice to say hello and have a beer or two.
